Lambda system is used for tuning carburetion and injection.

The Lambda sensor is a wide band “proportional” sensor. The signal is not binary (rich/lean) but proportional according to the measured air/fuel ratio: An air/fuel ratio curve is obtained with a simple acceleration test.

Air/fuel ratio and power curves are displayed on the same graph, so that you can check the influence of the Lambda factor on the power of the motorcycle and tune your carburetion accordingly.
